New culinary proposals in Barcelona Degusta
Montjuïc exhibition centre, 6th to 9th of March
The Food Show for Consumers, Barcelona Degusta, which will be back from the 6th to the 9th of March, will fill the Montjuïc exhibition centre with new and attractive gastronomy proposals. With 500 exhibitors and new areas, this third show will be a great food and culinary festival for the general public.
Tasting the best gastronomy proposals, engaging with well known gourmets and chefs, trying out products from the Mediterranean diet and buying utensils will be some of the recipes of Barcelona Degusta, which boasts good exhibitor figures and a sybarite-proof programme.
In addition to a large variety of talks, tastings, workshops, conferences and free samplings, visitors will have access to a large gastronomy book shop with over a thousand titles.
Two new areas, Trends and Landscapes, will be incorporated along side the traditional Bazaar, Market, Ambigus, Kiosk, Taste Seminars and Taste Agoras.
Barcelona Degusta will feature an area dedicated to NGOs that focus their efforts on fighting hunger; a clear example of the commitment to transmit values and contribute to responsible consumerism and respect for the neediest.
The show is organised by Alimentaria Exhibitions - a joint venture between Reed Exhibitions and Fira de Barcelona- with the support of different public bodies.
